ZUTOMAYO has unveiled an anime music video for “Pain Give Form” (“Katachi”), the theme song of the 2025 film Dollhouse.
The visually striking Nowoka-directed (“Shinitai Himawari” music video) piece follows two girls with distinct heterochromia. While they share similar looks, their lives are portrayed as dramatically different, which is highlighted at moments with a splitscreen technique. The video further illustrates the story that unfolds following their initial meeting.
In addition to directing, Nowoka also took charge of the storyboards, unit direction, chief animation direction, and character design. Concurrently, haikeibu contributed to the character design drafts, production material for the setting, and background artistry.
