Beats from “Kill or Kiss,” the opening theme song by Yurina Hirate, launch the initial segment of the new preview. Enthusiasts can enjoy rapid action sequences showcasing exceptional assassination skills, along with the distinct characters involved in Gero’s matchmaking escapade.
In the latter half, viewers are treated to “Shake Na Baby,” the ending theme song performed by up-and-coming artist Akasaki. This accompanies a comical dialogue where Gero reveals the realities of his life as an assassin to Kinosaki. Emphasizing Gero’s allure—from his confident exterior to his awkward true nature—the trailer establishes the atmosphere for the unfolding drama of this unforeseen alliance between a Poison User assassin and a highly skilled marriage con artist.
“Hello, I’m Akasaki, a college student singer-songwriter. I feel extremely honored to perform the ending theme song for my first TV anime. Additionally, being part of the fantastic project MarriageToxin, which I have cherished and followed for a long time, fills me with immense gratitude,” the artist expressed in the announcement.
“The song ‘Shake Na Baby’ conveys the message of having the courage to continue moving forward in your unique way, even amidst a love filled with mistakes. I hope you enjoy the catchy lyrics, alongside the vibrant and nostalgic sound that aligns with the show’s pace while embracing the lingering essence of the anime. May this song, alongside the TV anime MarriageToxin, become a cherished memory in everyone’s hearts!”

Synopsis: For centuries, the deadly arts have been mastered by those recognized as the Masters. Among them, the Poison Masters of the Five Great Families wield the most formidable power and influence. Hikaru Gero, heir to the Poison Masters’ Gero Family, has spent his entire life entrenched in the underworld, distanced from love or matrimony.
However, when the Gero Family head insists that Hikaru’s sister must produce an heir to maintain the bloodline — by coercion if necessary — Hikaru vows to shield her at all costs. In this pivotal moment, Hikaru meets Mei Kinosaki, an ingenious marriage con artist who becomes the focus of his latest assignment. Understanding that the only solution to the family succession dilemma and protecting his sister lies in marriage, Hikaru impulsively seeks Mei’s assistance in locating a bride.
