This month, significant additions are being made to the Pluto TV anime catalog. The genre is an expanding component of how the streamer engages adults ages 18-34 — its fastest-growing audience — as the platform creates a more intentional, curated free streaming experience for younger viewers.
This September, Pluto TV is enhancing its anime offerings with a new collection of titles, increased English dub access, and two new linear channels, introducing some of the genre’s most beloved titles to a free streaming audience for the first time.
In 2025, over 45 billion minutes of anime content were streamed in the U.S., according to Nielsen. On Pluto TV, adults 18-34 make up nearly half of the anime viewing hours, with anime viewers spending almost three times as many hours on the platform compared to users across the rest of the service.
Building upon the recent introduction of English-dubbed and subtitled versions of global mega-hits Vinland Saga and Dororo, the lineup will now include Inuyashiki: Last Hero and Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress, alongside One-Punch Man and Kenichi: The Mightiest Disciple, both available for the first time in free streaming with English dubs.

The expansion also provides broader dub access to the streamer’s current popular titles, specifically Naruto, Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon, Inuyasha, Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead and Captain Tsubasa.
Two new channels are also debuting on the platform in September: It’s Anime and Big A Anime. It’s Anime showcases an English-dub-focused lineup that includes current series, catalog favorites, and new simulcasts from Japan. Big A Anime features a curated selection of acclaimed anime series and films, such as Vinland Saga, Dororo and titles from the Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress franchise, along with fan-oriented programming like Anime Showdown and specials from significant anime and pop culture events.

We’re creating a destination that caters to this large and expanding audience.”
Pluto TV’s anime catalog is already supported by some of the genre’s most recognizable and lasting franchises, including One Piece, Naruto, Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon, Hunter x Hunter, Death Note and Yu-Gi-Oh!. Now, over 1,300 hours of programming across various anime subgenres are set to join the platform.
