©十夜/アース・スター エンターテイメント/黒竜騎士団 The TV anime adaptation of A Tale of the Secret Saint (Tenseishita Daiseijo wa, Seijo de aru koto o Hitakakusu) is scheduled to begin in April 2026.
The announcement of the release window came along with the reveal of several cast members:
• Tasoku Hatanaka as Desmond Ronan
• Daiki Hamano as Zachary Townsend
• Tomokazu Sugita as Quentin Agutter
A Tale of the Secret Saint is based on the Earth Star Novel light novel series written by Touya and illustrated by chibi, which started in June 2019 and has 11 volumes published as of March 2025. Seven Seas Entertainment summarizes the books’ premise as follows:
Born into a long line of knights, Fia is determined to become a knight herself, just like all her siblings. However, a brush with death awakens memories of her previous life as a Saint–a woman endowed with rare, powerful healing and protection magic–along with the capacity to wield that magic! The drawback is that Fia also remembers her past life’s premature death, and the peril she will face if anyone discovers her true identity. She pledges to remain on her knighthood path and conceal her abilities forever! Yet, how can she resist utilizing her newly acquired powers when they prove so beneficial?
There is a prequel named A Tale of the Secret Saint ZERO and also a manga. The overall series reportedly has more than 3.5 million copies in circulation. A Tale of the Secret Saint initially appeared as a Shousetsuka ni Narou web novel in January 2019.
