DAN DA DAN Season 2 Casts Hiroyuki Yoshino & Naomi Ozora

Two additional new cast members are set to join the anticipated second season of DAN DA DAN. The premiere for the second season is expected to take place on Japanese television and Netflix on July 3, 2025. Crunchyroll will also start streaming season two in July.
The newcomers consist of Hiroyuki Yoshino as Manjiro, a priest, and Naomi Ozora as Chiquitita, the offspring of the Dover Demon.

Abel Gongora (Season 1’s opening animation storyboard artist and director) will collaborate with first season director Fuga Yamashiro as co-director for the upcoming season. Additional staff includes Hiroshi Seko (Chainsaw Man) as series screenwriter and scriptwriter, Naoyuki Onda (MF Ghost, Inuyashiki) as character designer, Yoshimichi Kameda (Mob Psycho 100 character designer) as alien and yokai designer, Satoshi Hashimoto (Spy x Family Season 1) and Makiho Kondo (“Tokyo Clone” music video) as color designers, Junichi Higashi (Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2) as background art director, Kazuto Izumita (Great Pretender) as compositing director, and Kensuke Ushio (Tengoku-Daimakyo, The Heike Story). Science SARU is responsible for the animation production.  
The premiere of the second season will be preceded by a theatrical release of the first three episodes titled DAN DA DAN: EVIL EYE. GKIDS will present both the original Japanese language version with English subtitles and the English dub version, beginning June 6, 2025.
Season one of DAN DA DAN aired for 12 episodes during the Fall 2024 anime season. Crunchyroll and Netflix streamed the initial season worldwide, outside of Japan. 
The anime draws inspiration from the sci-fi occult manga series by Yukinobu Tatsu, which made its debut on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ on April 6, 2021, and has released 19 tankobon volumes as of April 2025. A 20th volume is scheduled for release in Japan on July 4, 2025.
