The preview also features the recently announced opening theme song “THE REVO” by PORNOGRAFFITTI.
My Hero Academia Final Season is scheduled to premiere on October 4. This marks the eighth My Hero Academia season; the original season debuted in 2016.
My Hero Academia is adapted from the Weekly Shonen Jump manga by Kohei Horikoshi, which was serialized from 2014 to 2024. Viz Media summarizes the manga as:
Middle school student Izuku Midoriya dreams of being a hero, but he faces the harsh reality of having no powers. With little hope of gaining admission to the prestigious U.A. High School for aspiring heroes, his future seems bleak. However, an encounter with All Might, the greatest hero of all time, offers him a chance to change his fate.
