Global anime platform Crunchyroll has revealed that following a six-year break, the eagerly awaited second season of the chaotic dark fantasy series Dorohedoro will debut on its streaming service on April 1. A new trailer for S2 has also been shared.

Synopsis: In a grim city known as “the Hole,” a group of Sorcerers have been secretly using individuals as test subjects for horrific “experiments” in dark magic. In a shadowy alley, Nikaido discovered Caiman, a man with a reptilian head and memory loss. To reverse the curse, they’re tracking down and eliminating the Sorcerers in the Hole, hoping that eventually, they’ll find the right one. However, when En, the lead Sorcerer, learns of a lizard-man slaughtering his kind, he dispatches a team of “cleaners” into the Hole, triggering a conflict between two realms.
