REMOW Co., Ltd. has unveiled the new trailer for the forthcoming anime adaptation of Liar Game. The series, produced by the esteemed animation studio Madhouse, is scheduled to start streaming on April 7 (JST) worldwide on Crunchyroll (excluding Japan and China), with Amediateka taking charge of distribution in Russia.
Along with the new trailer, the show’s theme song artists were revealed: The opening theme “Bubble” will be performed by Yorushika (the former Vocaloid P composer n-buna and singer suis), while the ending theme “Asahi” will be brought to life by the energetic dance group Lucky Kilimanjaro.
“The song ‘Bubble’ was crafted around the concept of tautology — that is, repetition, rephrasing the same meaning using different words,” Yorushika explained. “It reflects us, our everyday actions — our very existence. Or perhaps it’s more fitting to say it encapsulates the essence of living. In simpler terms, it’s about life itself.”

The members of Lucky Kilimanjaro remarked, “At times, we lose direction, feel disheartened and attempt to conceal ourselves in shadows. When we considered Nao Kanzaki’s unwavering faith in others, we sensed a light that pierces through that darkness, guiding us back to a brighter path. This sentiment inspired our song. After the intense psychological duels of Liar Game leave your mind frazzled, we hope this track provides a moment of warmth and solace.”
Synopsis: A Mysterious Invitation. One Hundred Million Yen. The Game Begins.
College student Nao Kanzaki unexpectedly receives an odd letter and a suitcase containing 100 million yen. She’s been selected to take part in the Liar Game — a high-stakes psychological duel where deception, betrayal, and lies rule. Naïve and painfully honest, Nao quickly finds herself in a tight spot. To escape, she seeks the help of Shinichi Akiyama, a genius former con artist with unmatched intellect. As they venture deeper into the twisted competition, the two must outsmart their adversaries in a world where trusting others could lead to disaster.
In a game founded on falsehoods, can honesty triumph?
