©藤本タツキ／集英社 ©2024「ルックバック」製作委員会A Look Back anime film exhibition will occur at Tokyo’s Azabudai Hills Gallery from January 16, 2026 JST to March 29, 2026 JST. The exhibition is titled Gekijoban Anime Look Back-ten —Oshiyama Kiyotaka Sen no Kanjo (approximately Look Back Anime Movie Exhibition — Kiyotaka Oshiyama The Emotion of Lines) and is co-organized by the film’s director Kiyotaka Oshiyama.
In a statement, Oshiyama expressed that the exhibition was not a documentation of finished footage, but rather a bid to make tangible the “traces of emotion and thoughts” that arise from the process of having aspects that could be illustrated and others that could not.
Kiyotaka also referred to Look Back as his tribute to creatives and individuals, and shared that he hopes the exhibition will motivate attendees to rethink the concept of what drawing, as performed by people, entails.
A teaser visual for the exhibition was unveiled alongside the announcement.
