The trailer showcases further details of the central romance, introduces some supporting characters, and hints at the presence of beast people within the world.
Additional details revealed:
• Riho Sugiyama will voice Jarashi Luna
• Masaya Fukunishi will portray Kikira Daichi
• The opening song, titled “Ding-dong” by Mao Abe, is featured in the trailer
• The ending theme “Hoshimagane” by Kaori Ishihara is also highlighted in the trailer
The Invisible Man and His Soon-to-Be Wife is adapted from the manga by IWATOBINEKO, which originated as a Twitter comic and is serialized in Futabasha’s josei magazine JOUR. According to Seven Seas Entertainment, the manga’s premise describes:
Yakou Shizuka, a reserved and timid woman, is employed at a detective agency. Her employer Tounome, the owner of the business, embodies the charming gentleman archetype, kind-hearted and stylish, but he has a unique ability—he is invisible! This special skill is beneficial for detective tasks, yet he soon learns that it doesn’t affect Yakou, who is visually impaired and can sense his presence. Captivated by her, Tounome is eager to win her over and will not hesitate to leverage his various talents. Yakou’s eccentric colleagues, a contrary human and a nurturing beastwoman, support her as she navigates the awkward dynamics of office romance.
The anime was initially slated to debut this year.
