This new movie acts as a sequel to Yohei Kameyama‘s 2022 Milky☆Highway CG anime short and is set to debut in Japan on July 3, 2025.

Superhuman Chiharu and cyborg Makina have been arrested for violating space traffic laws. They are assigned to work with a group of misfits who were apprehended around the same time: Akane and Kanata, the superhuman duo, followed by Kurt and Max, the cyborg friends. Ryoko, the police officer, has sentenced them to clean the interplanetary train – known as “Milky☆Subway,” as part of their community service.
It should have been an uncomplicated task – until the train unexpectedly launches into deep space! The crew is thrown into disarray as chaos erupts onboard!
No purpose! No principles! No point! A space-train spectacle like never before, driven purely by momentum!
