Masao Okubo (Record of Ragnarok Season 1 and 2) is at the helm of directing the anime series, with Noriyuki Nakamura (The Aristocrat’s Otherworldly Adventure) as the assistant director. The team also includes Hayato Kazano and Jin Haganeya sharing responsibilities as co-series screenwriter and scriptwriter, respectively, and Kazumi Inadome as the character designer. Yumeta Company is responsible for the animation production.
Monster Strike Deadverse Reloaded takes inspiration from MIXI’s Monster Strike mobile gacha game, which is a “Pull hunting RPG” that allows you to become a Monster Master. This will mark the inaugural Monster Strike anime series to be available on terrestrial television in Japan. Prior anime entries include the Monster Strike the Animation ONA, which debuted in October 2015, comprising three seasons and several short films and movies.
The Monster Strike game was launched in Japan for Android and iOS in 2013, and it has seen releases in other regions such as China, Korea, and a global version, though those have since been discontinued.
