Reborn as a Vending Machine: 3rd Season Announced

Reborn as a Vending Machine Gets 3rd Season

The Reborn as a Vending Machine series is set to return for a third season.

This announcement comes after Season 2 concluded, which was broadcast during the Summer 2025 anime slate.

Reborn as a Vending Machine draws inspiration from the light novels published by KADOKAWA and authored by Hirukuma. Yen Press summarizes the plot as follows:
After meeting a fatal end in a traffic incident, I find myself beside a strange lake. My body is unresponsive, my voice is silent, and when I attempt to express my confusion, unexpected phrases escape my lips!

I-I seem to have been transformed into a vending machine…! My capabilities are limited to what a vending machine can do. I cannot move independently, and meaningful conversations are out of reach—how will I navigate a fantasy world’s dungeon in this form?!

The narrative originated as a web novel on Shousetsuka ni Narou in 2016, followed by the Itsuwa Kato-illustrated light novel series that debuted the same year. Three volumes were published between 2016 and 2017. A new edition featuring illustrations by Hagure Yuuki, who also designed the characters for the manga adaptation, launched in 2021. Both editions are published under the KADOKAWA Sneaker Bunko label.

The anime series can be streamed on platforms such as Crunchyroll and Prime Video.
