A new key visual and teaser trailer have been unveiled for the anticipated second season of The Beginning After the End, set to premiere in April 2026.
TurtleMe (the pseudonym of American writer Brandon Lee) is involved as story supervisor and executive producer. Tapas Entertainment’s Mike Zhu, Kevin Nicklaus, and Gabrielle Luu are also credited as executive producers.
The original web novel was first published by Tapas on January 18, 2017. Fuyuki23 created the illustrations for the webtoon comic adaptation, which began serialization on Tapas’ website on July 7, 2018. As of July 2025, eight print volumes of the webtoon have been released, with a ninth volume scheduled for November 25, 2025, and a 10th volume on February 24, 2026. Yen Press publishes the webtoon comic in English print, while Tapas provides digital releases.
