（C）中村颯希・一迅社／「ふつつかな悪女」製作委員会Two character visuals for the Though I Am an Inept Villainess: Tale of the Butterfly-Rat Body Swap in the Maiden Court TV anime have been unveiled, showcasing once more the main characters Kou Reirin and Shu Keigetsu.
The anime adapts the light novel series penned by Satsuki Nakamura and illustrated by Kana Yuki. Seven Seas Entertainment summarizes the story as follows:
In the Kingdom of Ei, five clans present their maidens as imperial consorts—but only one will ascend as empress. When the delicate and stunning “court butterfly” Kou Reirin appears set to wed the crown prince, envious “court rat” Shu Keigetsu hijacks her body! Reirin finds herself in the dungeons as the perpetrator, and the situation seems grim…or does it? With her newfound strong body, even the impending danger of execution cannot deter her!
