Wandance is adapted from the manga by Coffee, which Kodansha USA outlines as:
Kaboku Kotani is beginning high school, planning to continue his routine: go along with his friends, stay quiet, and avoid drawing attention to himself. His stutter makes it difficult to fit in—why exacerbate it by standing out? However, he encounters another first-year, Hikari Wanda, dancing without a care. This inspires Kaboku to wonder if he could feel that same sense of freedom. To connect with Wanda, he takes a leap he never expected: he joins the dance club. Every routine starts with a single step, right?
The Wandance manga started serialization in Kodansha’s seinen magazines Afternoon and Magazine Pocket in January 2019 and is set to release its 14th volume on September 22, 2025 JST.
