More information about Digimon Beatbreak, including its production team, cast, and plot, has yet to be announced. A world premiere screening of the show’s first episode is scheduled during DIGIMON EXPO’25 on September 20-21, 2025.
The first TV series in the franchise, Digimon Adventure, premiered in Japan in 1999, airing 54 episodes, two years after the launch of the Digimon virtual pets. The franchise has since inspired multiple other TV anime series, films, games, manga, and a collectible card game, among various media.
The latest Digimon TV anime was Digimon Ghost Game, which ran from 2021 to 2023 for a total of 67 episodes.
Crunchyroll streamed Digimon Ghost Game globally, outside of Japan, and summarizes the main premise as follows:
On social media, there are rumors of a strange phenomenon known as “Hologram Ghosts.” Hiro Amanokawa, a first-year junior high school student, activates a mysterious device left by his father and meets a Digimon named Gammamon.
