The production is bringing on Yuna Taniguchi, Konatsu Hirabayashi, and Anji Iwata to the cast. They will portray Watanabe, Sato, and Yamada, respectively.

The anime is adapted from the romantic comedy manga by Kocha Agasawa, which commenced serialization in Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ in May 2022 and concluded on the same day the anime was announced (November 24, 2024 JST). Manga Plus encapsulates the story as follows:
Suzuki, an animated girl who can’t resist going along with the group, becomes intrigued by Tani, a reserved boy who expresses his thoughts freely. Here comes the serialization of a popular one-shot!
