©赤坂アカ×横槍メンゴ/集英社・【推しの子】製作委員会OSHI NO KO Season 3 will continue six months after the release of “POP IN 2,” with most developments going well for the characters. Nevertheless, Kana has lost her former cheerfulness, while Ruby is on a quest to uncover the reality behind Ai and Goro’s deaths.
OSHI NO KO’s initial two seasons were aired in 2023 and 2024. The anime draws from the manga created by Aka Akasaka (Kaguya-sama: Love is War) and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari (Scum’s Wish), which was serialized from 2020 to 2024 in Shueisha’s seinen magazine Weekly Young Jump, concluding in November 2024. Yen Press summarizes the story as follows:
Gorou is a gynecologist and idol enthusiast who is stunned when his favorite star, Ai, announces an unexpected hiatus. Little does Gorou know that he is about to develop a connection with her that transcends logic! Deception is an idol’s most potent tool in this wild manga from Aka Akasaka (Kaguya-sama: Love is War) and Mengo Yokoyari (Scum’s Wish).
