If the Mass Production Evangelions’ look in The End of Evangelion wasn’t eerie enough, collectible producer Prime 1 Studio has a new Evangelion Mass Production Model statue that serves as pure nightmare fuel.

According to the product description, this version of the Mass Production Evas, inspired by a conceptual design from Josh Nizzi, is a “mechanical reimagining” and features design elements such as panel lines and “internal mechanisms.” The tactile nature of the distinctly mechanical parts, combined with the Mass Production Eva’s signature “grin,” now illustrated with lifelike teeth and gums, and the wrinkled fabric on the head results in a bizarre and fearful aesthetic.

Here’s a segment from the description:
This statue enhances their soulless, eerie aura through conceptual design by Josh Nizzi. While paying tribute to the original organic form, it includes elaborate features like panel lines and internal mechanisms. The white color scheme is enhanced with metallic, muted silver, and highlighted with a warning yellow. The purple sword holds a sharp tension in its delicate sculpt.

At its base, evoking a sense of descending from the heavens, unfolds a crafted scene of an apocalypse—collapsed truss bridge, crumbling structures, and EVA-02 impaled and sinking into the crimson ocean. A nightmare once seen is reborn in a new guise.
